Oracle Wins Bid for TikTok in the USA:- TikTok has been facing tough time after the arrival of coronavirus pandemic and China facing the heat. The Chinese apps have been banned by countries like India and USA already. Widely popular app TikTok is making ways to return back. TikTok has chosen Oracle as the technology partner for its operaations in USA and it rejected the offer from Microsoft as per the news from the officials of Microsoft. USA President Donald Trump threatened to ban several popular apps soon. Oracle will now take up the majority of the stake in the social media app as per the deal. Microsoft was seen as the American technology company to buy TikTok's USA operations from its parent company ByteDance.

TikTok has to strike a deal for its USA opertions by September 20th before it gets blocked in USA. China issued new regulations last month about TikTok transfering its technology to a base in  USA. This helped TikTok to get the boost before it is banned in USA. Millions of Americans are addicted to TikTok and Oracle made use of the deal before it is banned in the USA. TikTok too wanted to survive and they could not negotiate for a better deal. Donald Trump last month said that he would support Oracle to get the deal with TikTok closed.
