WhatsApp rolling emoji reactions for messages:- WhatsApp is all set to roll out the emoji reaction feature for the users so that they can react to the messages with a reaction or an emoji. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the same earlier this week and the emoji reaction feature is seen in all the popular communication social media platforms like Telegram, iMessage and Instagram. There would be six emoji reactions available for the users so that can choose their own depending upon the message and the reaction. They are fixed and they cannot be changed.
The six emoji include like, love, surprise, laugh, sad and thanks. The feature will be very simple for the users. Like other platforms, the users will have to long-press on the message so that the emojis available will be displayed. The same process should be implemented for videos and images. One can tap on the reaction to finalize and send it to the person you are involved in the chat. WhatsApp is also in plans to bring sticker reactions and GIF reactions very soon. They are currently in the developing stage and they will be implemented very soon. WhatsApp is also testing emoji reactions for status updates. There are reports that WhatsApp will have 8 fixed reactions for WhatsApp on desktop.
