YSR congress party chief Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy, who was on fast on the second day at Armur in Nizamabad district highlighting the problems of farmers, was taken aback when activists of New Democracy Party and some pro-Telangana workers barged on to the fasting camp this afternoon raising slogans.
The barging of the Jagan opponents, though few in number, had led to mild tension at the camp and confusion prevailed for a while among the organizers of the fasting camp.
The sudden act caught the police officers and constables present at the fasting camp unawares forcing them to use their lathis to disperse the sloganeering mob. Police have also taken some activists into custody.
The workers raised the slogans ‘Jagan go back’ and ‘Jagan, reveal your stand on Telangana’ leading to a commotion at the fasting camp. (JUBS)
