Janata Party chief Subramanyam Swamy said he will go for an appeal in a higher court challenging the dismissal of his petition seeking prosecution of Home Minister Chidambaram in the 2G scam by the CBI special court.
Expressing surprise at the dismissal of his petition, Dr Swamy said the special court’s order deserves a complete reversal.
Repeating his allegation that Chidambaram was equally responsible along with the former Telecom Minister A Raja for the 2G scam, Swamy said he would continue his fight till he gets justice in the case.
When asked if he was disappointed, he replied saying only journalists might have disappointed with the verdict. “It is all part of the game, you know,” Dr Swamy said. (JUBS)
