Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad: Low Lying Regions Flooded:- The recent rains that lashed the city left in waterlogging and several regions remained flooded. After a pleasant morning, several parts of Hyderabad received heavy rains on Sunday right from the afternoon. Chandulal Baradari in Bahadurpura received the highest ever rainfall of 50.30 mm and it is followed by Ghansibazar with 49.30 mm rainfall. Gunfoundry (43.8mm) and Doodh Bowli (43.5mm) also received an ample amount of rainfall in the city. The water gushed into the low-lying regions and the water flooded into the homes in these regions. Dudyal in Vikarabad reported the highest ever rainfall with 79.3 mm and Sonala in Adilabad received 73.5 mm rainfall on Sunday.

The temperatures remained quite low in Hyderabad and the maximum temperature reported is said to be 30.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is said to be 23.5 degrees. Heavy rains are expected in the city till July 22nd as per the weather department. 25 rain-related complaints are received in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Sunday. 17 among them are resolved immediately and the rescue operations are on for the rest of them. GHMC’s Disaster Response Force (DRF) is working round the clock to serve the people. Here is the rainfall as per the regions in Hyderabad on Sunday:

Chandulal Baradari: 50.3 mm
Ghansi Bazar: 49.3 mm
Gunfoundry: 43.8 mm
Doodh Bowli: 43.5 mm
Begum Bazar: 43.0 mm
Asifnagar: 41.5 mm
Mailardevpally: 41.0 mm
Secunderabad GHMC building: 38.0 mm
Bansilalpet: 37.8 mm
Khairatabad: 37.8 mm
