Andhra Pradesh Congress party has clarified that it will contest the Allagadda Assembly seat by-election which is lying vacant following the YSRCP leader, Shoba Nagireddy's death in a accident. In fact Shoba Nagireddy died before the election but people voted to her in respect to her experience and contribution to the constituency.
Telugu Desam party might not field any candidate as YSRCP gave way to the party in the recent Nandigama by-election. However, Congress contested their and managed to get deposit and now they want to test their luck in Allagadda where Congress completely wiped out from AP state. But this decision is not appreciable as Congress should leave it on the grounds of sentiment and respect the former leaders.
