Congress party has expelled Gufran-e-Azam, a former member of Parliament for his comments on Rahul Gandhi and Congress high command. He was also an All India Congress Committee (AICC) member and been associated with the party for nearly four decades

For the past couple of month, Gufran has been attacking and accusing Sonia Gandhi and Congress leadership for poor performance in the May general elections. He went ahead and demanded resignation of Sonia Gandhi and made bitter comments on Rahul Gandhi. “Rahul has developed neither the art of speaking nor imbibed political thinking,” said Gufran.
