Here are the steps to make fiber-rich Kala chana salad at home:
Ingredients:
Black chickpea (boiled cup)
Olive oil
Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder: 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds or jeera: 1/2 tablespoon
Cucumbers chopped
Tomatoes chopped
Onions chopped
Bell pepper chopped
Green chillis chopped
Process:
Start the process by boiling a cup of black chickpeas and keep them aside. Pour some olive oil in a pan and 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds. Add chopped green chillis and onions. Fry them for a minute and then add the boiled chickpeas that are kept aside. Add salt and cumin powder. Mix them well and add bell peppers, tomatoes. Stir them well and allow them to get cooked for 8-10 minutes. Lower the heat and add some lemon juice. Sprinkle some chat masala on the snack.
