Ingredients:
- 350 gm boneless chicken
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 lemon
- 5 gm ginger-garlic paste
- 5 ml oil
- 5 gm chopped coriander leaves
- 5 gm chopped green chili
- 1 freshly cut green bamboo stem
Method:
Thoroughly rinse the chicken and place it in a mixing bowl.
Add turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, green chili, lemon juice, and oil to the bowl.
Mix well to ensure that the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade.
Arrange the firewood on the earth. Apply kerosene or gasoline to the wood. Place some paper, dried leaves, or coconut fibers on the kindling wood.
Light a fire. Take several newly cut green bamboo stalks and tie a node at one end of them. Before using, give the interior portion of the bamboo a good rinse.
Stuff the marinated chicken inside three-quarters of the bamboo and cover the top with balled-up banana leaves. After setting it on fire, wait forty-five minutes.
After that, extract the leafy plug from the bamboo cylinder by grasping the bamboo with pincers. Place the bamboo over a plate, upside down. Warm up the chicken and serve it.
