Gobi Pepper Fry Recipe:- Here is the delicious recipe to prepare a Gobi pepper fry in less than 30 minutes. A healthy lip-smacking appetizer that can be served even on dinner nights.
List of Ingredients
• 1 cup chopped cauliflower
• 1/4 cup corn flour
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
• 1 capsicum (green pepper)
• 4 cloves chopped garlic
• 1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder
• salt as required
• 1/2 cup refined flour
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
• 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
• 1 onion
• 1 inch chopped ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
• 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
• 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions
Step 1: Boil Cauliflower florets in water by adding some salt for three to four minutes. Then drain the hot water and pour cold water into the florets. Later drain the excess water and keep the florets in the bowl.
Step 2: Take flour, corn flour, ½ tablespoon pepper, ¼ tablespoon turmeric and needed salt into a bowl and mix it well by adding water. The batter should be neither thick nor thin.
Step 3: Take the florets and add them to the prepared batter. Fry the coated florets in heated oil. Make them deep fry, until they turn crispy and golden brown in colour.
Step 4: Take 2 tsp of oil in a pan, After the oil is heated up add cumin seeds, and fennel seeds in the oil. Later add onions, chopped ginger, garlic and capsicum for three minutes on high flame. Also, add some coriander powder, Dry mango powder, ½ tablespoon black pepper powder and salt and also add tomato ketchup and mix well. By the end add the fried florets to the prepared masala and stir for two minutes.
