There have been rumors that Microsoft Windows 8, the operating system to join the Windows flock, that it would be released on the scheduled date though the testing has not been completed, according to Bloomberg who has quoted that an Intel staff member as his source. The source has quoted that the Windows 8 is still riddled with bugs and other technical issues after he had attended an employee meet on the same.
Intel however has refuted that Paul Otellini made the remarks in a recent statement on The Verge. Intel said, "Our internal employee meetings are private and we don't disclose details on what may or may not have been said. We continue to see Windows 8 as a significant opportunity across the board and are excited at our prospects in new form factors like Ultrabooks, tablets and convertibles."
Microsoft has defended itself from such false claims of a bugged Windows 8 saying that never has there been such a reliable OS from Microsoft.
"Windows 8 is the most tested, reviewed and ready operating system in Microsoft's history. Microsoft is looking forward to making Windows 8 available to the world on October 26th."
Window's which literally has almost no competition compared from other commercial operating systems, is trying to stay ahead of it's only quotable rival Apple with the Mac OS by launching the OS on October 26, prior to the holiday season. Otellini in his debatable statements said that Microsoft was right in marketing the product after basic testing to receive huge feedback on the snags, bugs and other issues from the users themselves after it is shipped.
An upgrade from the Window 7 is also expected at a nominal price under $35 but we are unsure of how the update would be made available to the people but for the regular Windows update feature. Another update to the Windows 8, Blue (codename) is speculated to be launched within a year.
Microsoft Windows 8 is already available to OEMs, developers and other key partners.
