October is the month the mobile makers can bank of people to flock to the showrooms to get their hands on the latest gadgets, and this is when they release newer models for maximum sale boost before the Christmas. After rumors that Apple has been planning for a press invite on Octber 10, a confirmed press invitation from Samsung has been handed out in Germany hinting at the release of the latest and much rumored device the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini.
The flagship mobile though state of the art, is definitely out of the reach for most shallow pockets. To cover this segment of the patrons, Samsung could be planning to give out “something small but really big device” to them. The press invite had a S inlaid at the center suggesting a Galaxy S series mobile and the clue "something small will be really big" on the invite indicates towards Galaxy S III Mini.
Earlier they reported that the mobile would be released in the fourth quarter of 2012. According to the rumors, the S III Mini will feature 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, dual-core processor, and a 5MP rear camera. Version of android and other specs are not known yet but it can be guessed that a Jelly Bean would please the fans out of the box.
The announcement comes within weeks of Galaxy Note II announcement in Germany itself. Company has seen great success with its Galaxy series keeping it at the top of the Smartphone segment in most countries in the world including India.
If Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is not just a rumor, the company would see newer heights in their market after their release in India the target for lower and mid range mobiles.
