Indian Government Bans PUBG Along With 117 Other Apps:- The Indian government banned PUBG mobile along with Apus Launcher, Rules of Survival and 115 other Chinese apps along with games across the country. The Indian government imposed a ban on 58 Chinese apps a month ago and now the move of 118 apps ban is announced. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under the provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 imposed the ban in the country. All these banned apps are claimed to be “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity” of the country.

The Ministry of IT released a press statement today announcing about the ban of the Chinese apps in the country. There are a series of complaints registered after which the Indian government decided to impose a ban. They are claimed to misuse some of the mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms. for stealing the information. The statement said “The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs has also sent an exhaustive recommendation for blocking these malicious apps. Likewise, there have been similar bipartisan concerns, flagged by various public representatives, both outside and inside the Parliament of India".

All these banned apps are available on Apple Store and Google Play and they would be pulled out from these platforms very soon.
