The heat is more than the prediction and the rapid rise in the heat gain left the people in trouble. Some of the people's bodies are not able to digest the heat than the average conditions. This resulted in a cascade of illnesses like heat stroke, hyperthermia, heat cramps and heat exhaustion. As per the reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), the maximum temperature in the heat wave is said to be 40 degrees centigrade in the plain regions and 30 degrees in the hilly regions.
The young people and the older ones are susceptible to illnesses related to the heat-wave. If the proper precautions are not taken, the heat can become fatal in some of the cases and can even lead to death. Here are some of the tips to stay away from heat wave:
Keep yourself hydrated. Drink lots and lots of water even when you are not thirsty. Water can bring back the lost fluids and salts that the body loses in the form of sweat. Keep a bottle of water around you during summer. Avoid the food that is oily and calorie-rich in summers. This increases the body temperature. Try having cold shakes to get the right amount of protein. It is also important to take care of your skin during summer. Use minimal makeup and beauty products to keep your skin healthy.
Apply ideal creams and others during the season. Consult a skin specialist if you are facing any skin-related disorders. Alcohol and caffeinated drinks should be completely kept away to stay away from dehydration. There should be a limited consumption of sugar drinks. Fresh lemon water coconut water and sharbat should be preferred so that they keep the body cool. Prefer to stay indoors during the peak heating time of the day. Avoid exposure to the hot sun in the day.
Keep yourself in a place that is well ventilated. Prefer fans and coolers if you are not around an air conditioner all the time. Prefer wearing cotton clothes in summer which are loose and light colored. If you feel that your body is overheated, keep a wet washcloth on the wrist and over your neck.
