KCR to Take Crucial Decisions on TSRTC Employees:- After 52 days, the employees of TSRTC called off the strike. But the government of Telangana is not in a mood to retain the sacked employees. The employees have been protesting near the bus depots from the past couple of days asking the Telangana government to rethink the decision taken. A crucial cabinet meeting will take place today and the Chief Minister KCR will take some crucial decisions about TSRTC employees. KCR may take a decision to retain the employees but he may ask the employees not to participate in any strike in the coming future.
The state's cabinet also will discuss privatizing 5100 routes and they may announce a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) for the employees of RTC. For privatization, the Telangana government will have to request the Centre to denotify the routes. During the review meeting, the officials said that over 12,000 TSRTC employees already crossed their fifties and many of them would opt for VRS. KCR will allocate major time for taking crucial decisions on TSRTC employees today. KCR is expected to meet the press after the cabinet meeting.
