Google has made a tremendous debut foraying into the tablet market while becoming the most sold tablet this year with its Nexus 7. The search engine giant's own tablet decided to give India a miss initially but looks like they have realized that India would be a large chunk of their sales. Google has decided to launch the tablet at Indian stores on Thursday, November 8 at all Croma stores.
The price of one variant has been disclosed to be at Rs 19,999 while it offers 16 GB of storage, it is unknown whether the discontinued 8GB and the new 32 GB variants would be available.
Even prior to the official release, several sellers such as the online store HomeShop18 among others have sold the Nexus 7 in India, the official announcement was not made yet.
The Asus Google Nexus 7 would still have the older Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version as opposed to the latest 4.2 version.
