South Korean electronics giant Samsung has dropped the Galaxy Gear price for the second time in a row. The wearable device was launched at Rupees 22,000 and last month Samsung slashed its price by three grand which brought it to 19,000. Now a whopping amount of four thousands has been cut down in the price and Galaxy Gear stands at Rupees 15,290 currently.
Galaxy Gear works with Samsung smartphone and tablets powered by Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) operating system. The smartwatch can be used to make and receive phone calls, read text messages and emails, track workouts and capture photos and videos. In November, Samsung said it had sold 8 lakh units globally since the launch in September.
