Stand-in captain Virat Kohli will lead Indian team in the first Test against Australia which is scheduled to begin from Tuesday. Captain MS Dhoni will be out due injured thumb and hopeful that he will recover by the second Test.
Also in a major blow, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will miss the first two Test matches because of ankle injury. This is a huge set back for the bowling department as Kumar has been the consistent wicket taker for the side. But it will be a good chances for seamers like Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron who at bowl at maximum speed.
